12 New Projects in 2012

I’ve been shirking lately when it comes to my blog. My apologies. Maybe if somebody was reading the fucking thing!! I’m kidding, of course. All the fans in the world wouldn’t make me any less lazy.

Anyway, I’d like to take a moment to set a goal for myself, which is to release a new project every month throughout 2012. You’ll recall that my film Gunslinger, P.I. was made available to stream for free in January, so that’s one down.

I have a short story called The Happy Seat coming up later this month (more on that very soon) and my second feature film Jesse Thunderwake: American Icon is making its world premiere in March (more on that soon, as well) so those are the next two projects.

A few of you have asked me about the sequel to Thicker Than Water (although the word sequel tends to make my stomach turn, so let’s just call it ‘the second Blood Brothers book’), which is in the works, but as of yet untitled. I hope to release it this summer.

The other major project for 2012 is a collection of seven short stories beginning with The Happy Seat which will be released individually but eventually packaged together in a collection labeled Seven Love Stories Without Happy Endings.

I also have a special project planned for the end of the year, but it’s too early to say anything about that. So… here’s a safe bet for the schedule, which is subject to change drastically and disappointingly:

January: Gunslinger, P.I.
February: The Happy Seat
March: Jesse Thunderwake: American Icon
April: Short Story
May: Short Story
June: Short Story
July: Untitled Blood Brothers Novel
August: Short Story
September: Short Story
October: Short Story
November: Seven Love Stories Without Happy Endings
December: Secret Project

Should be an exciting year for work.

Here’s a mock-up cover for The Happy Seat to whet your appetite. It’s not the official cover. I made it myself, but I have a friend with talent working on a better one.

  1. LOL Love the description under the title.

  2. Good luck to you with that schedule, Greg. I will be eagerly anticipating what you’ve got in store. I’m with you on the whole sequel thing. My next book is one, too. Worse than that is there will eventually be a third book in that series, which makes it another trilogy. Just what the world needed, right? Next we’ll be releasing books in halves…

Haha. Yeah, I feel the same way. Blood Brothers is a quadrilogy in the making. Can you think of another four-part vampire series in recent memory? Cause I can. And I don’t much care for it.
